Park Beede, Ph.D., is an experienced educator in advertising and marketing. With a career starting in his native United States, Park has worked internationally in faculty and administrative roles throughout New Zealand, Australia and now the United Arab Emirates. Specializing in advertising strategy, research activities focus on advertising effectiveness, creative strategy and branding.
In addition to academic roles, Park has held senior corporate roles in leading advertising agencies and corporate organizations. As a strategic planner with Colenso/BBDO and Euro RSCG, he worked closely with senior clients in advertising strategy, consumer research and brand planning. OPan the client side, Park was GM Marketing and Director of New Business Development with Mainland Products, the consumer division of Fonterra, one of New Zealand’s largest companies.
Along with academic and corporate roles, Park has been engaged as a consultant with a broad array of market-leading companies and social enterprise organizations.
Park holds a Ph.D. in brand strategy from the University of Otago and a MBA from DePaul University.
