Owen Bennett-Jones spent 30 years working at the BBC. As a journalist he covered all the major conflicts of that time and hosted a number of international current affairs programmes. He worked mainly in radio but also has experience in print and on TV. Owen has specialised on Pakistan and his history of the country, Pakistan: Eye of the Storm (Yale University Press) is now in its 3rd edition. He is currently working on a biography of Benazir Bhutto.

After a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics, Owen did a masters at St Antony’s College, Oxford and received his Phd from the University of Hull.
