Biography
Kang Li completed her Ph.D. Degree in Media & Information Studies at Michigan State University in the USA. She got her master’s degree in Digital Art at Peking University and bachelor’s degree in Animation at the Communication University of China. Kang Li taught at BNU-HKBU United International College (Hong Kong Baptist University, mainland campus) prior to joining in Zayed University. She also had work experience in media industry as an editor for mobile newspaper, an advertising designer, and an animator. She is a creative partner in a brand consultation team, CenterBrain Partners, Inc., USA. Her research mainly focuses on advertising, social media, health communication, and environmental communication. Her works appear in the academic publications such as the Health Communication, Science Communication, Computers in Human Behavior, and Advances in Advertising Research.
