Helen Michael
Helen is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the College of Communication and Media Sciences. She is an Advance HE Fellow with over 25 years teaching experience in the higher education field in the UAE. Previously, she has taught General Education and English Communications courses at the Higher Colleges of Technology and Abu Dhabi University. In addition to her teaching experience, she has been involved in material development for the Emirates national standardized testing system (EmSAT) and is a marker for EmSAT English scripts for the Ministry of Education in Abu Dhabi. Helen’s teaching interests include instructional design for language acquisition and writing for effective communication.
