Zayed University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (USA), which assures internationally recognized programs from a quality-assured university. The College of Communication and Media Sciences' undergraduate program is fully accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).
The College’s undergraduate concentrations were found in compliance with all nine ACEJMC Accrediting Standards. These include: the College’s mission, governance and administration; curriculum and instruction; diversity and inclusiveness; full-time and part-time faculty; scholarship: research, creative and professional activity; student services; resources, facilities and equipment; professional and public service; and assessment of learning outcomes. The Commission for Academic Accreditation is the Federal Government's Quality Assurance Agency charged with promoting educational excellence across diverse institutions of higher learning in the UAE.
