Sophia Soyoung Jeong is an Assistant Professor at the College of Business at Zayed University. Prior to coming to the UAE, she taught at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in the US and a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from Ajou University in South Korea. Dr. Jeong’s research efforts focus on individual and group-level processes leading to cooperative behaviors in the workplace including affect, trust, prosocial values, and ethics. Dr. Jeong’s work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Personnel Review, Journal of Management Education, and Nature Scientific Reports. She was a recipient of the Early Career Scheme grant from the Research Grants Council in Hong Kong.
