Bio

Saeed Alkatheeri is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Economics in the College of Business. He works currently as Economic Advisor to Abu Dhabi Executive Office. As an accomplished senior economist, he also provides consultancy on a broad spectrum of economic topics. He also taught Statistics and Econometrics at Abu Dhabi School of Management; and was an invited speaker and presenter at diverse symposiums, summits and conferences.

He studied Economics at the University of Arizona (BSc, 1999) and the University of East Anglia (MSc in industrial economics, 2010). He holds a Ph.D. (2014) in Economics from the University of East Anglia. He has awarded Dean's Honorable Mention List for outstanding achievement and ADIA scholarship program for outstanding GPA in his BSc degree; and was awarded the TRA Ph.D. scholarship and the Sheikh Rashid Award for Academic Excellence (2014).
