Bio

Jamel Khenfer is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the College of Business. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing)—which included a visiting scholar position at Duke University (USA)—in 2015 from Aix-Marseille University (France). Jamel was a postdoctoral researcher at Grenoble Ecole de Management in France before joining Zayed University in 2017. His research focuses on the notion of perceived control with implications for financial decision making and brand management. Jamel’s research has been published in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.
