Bio
Claire Richards is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. She has previous teaching experience at Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Richards received a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Utah, and her undergraduate (music) and Masters (accounting) degrees were earned at Brigham Young University.
Dr. Richards has five years of experience as CFO of a large international charity, and her research interests include not-for-profit financial and tax reporting in the US as well as charity practices in the U.A.E. Her teaching area is financial accounting.
