Bio
Belinda Crawford is an Assistant Professor of Business Communication in the College of Business Sciences. She joined Zayed University from the University of Florence (Italy) where she taught business students from a variety of cultural backgrounds. She recently taught organizational communication to students from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business during their semester abroad program at NYU in Florence. Belinda has also worked with international business professionals through Columbia University’s Department of Continuing Education. She has published in leading journals in the fields of discourse analysis and business communication. She participates in international research projects and regularly serves as reviewer for academic journals, book publishers and research funding entities.

Belinda’s current research focuses on interpersonal and rhetorical features of business discourse, particularly in the contexts of leadership communication and financial reporting.
