Bio

Ammad Ahmed is the Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting of the College of Business. He has studied Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, Pakistan. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (1st Class Honors) and Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. In 2017, he attained a Ph.D. in Accounting from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia.

He has previously worked at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Auckland, New Zealand, and Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia. He has attended numerous international conferences and his research papers are published in impactful journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics, Business Strategy and the Environment, Accounting and Finance, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Review of Economics and Finance, Meditari Accounting Research, and International Review of Finance and Economics etc.

He is a member of the College of Business Teaching and Learning Committee and Academic Partnership and Outreach Committee. He is also representing the College of Business in the University-wide Teaching and Learning Committee.
