Zayed University (ZU) students from the College of Business have achieved first place in the Bloomberg–ADNOC–Ministry of Education Energy Investment Academy, held during ADIPEC 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

The winning team, Moneyfestation, includes Akmalxo'ja Anvarxo'jayev, Hind Obaid Mohamed Juma Almheiri, Sarah Ahmad Abdulrahim Saeed Almarri guided by Dr. Ibrahim Bostan, Associate Professor of Finance.

Over recent weeks, the team participated in a series of Bloomberg-led webinars covering energy markets, commodities, artificial intelligence, data centers, and the energy transition. Using the Bloomberg Terminal, they developed a comprehensive research report that earned them a place among the final five teams invited to present at ADIPEC.

In the final round, the students impressed a panel of industry judges by confidently addressing complex questions on energy, technology, and sustainability, ultimately securing the top position. The winners received multiple prizes, including an internship opportunity at the ADNOC Trading Center in Abu Dhabi.

ZU Finance students continue to perform strongly in national and international competitions, reflecting the College’s emphasis on innovation, experiential learning, and industry engagement through platforms such as the Bloomberg Labs.
