The College of Business had the pleasure of hosting Ihsan Zakri, Regional Head for the Middle East and Africa at AACSB International, for a seminar entitled “Assurance of Learning Seminar I” on November 14th at the Dubai Campus. The seminar was attended by all College of Business faculty.

Assurance of Learning (AOL) refers to the processes that are used to evaluate whether learners are achieving the learning objectives for the programs in which they participate. The event provided valuable insights and strategies to enhance our academic practices and to ensure that we are aligned with AACSB standards.

The program also included opportunities for faculty to engage in discussions and interact with Ihsan during the morning coffee session. In the afternoon, Ihsan participated in a collaborative meeting with the College Accreditation Committee (CoBAC) and College Council, offering feedback on the College draft Strategic Plan and AOL Plan.
