Bio

Dr. Yi Zhang is an Associate Professor in Management, Zayed University. She has her Ph.D. Degree in Business Administration, Michael Smurfit Business School, National University of Ireland (Dublin), Master’s Degree of Science in Engineering Hydrology, National University of Ireland (Galway), MBA in Renming University, China, Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Hydrology, Xinjiang University (China). She also holds her engineer certificate in Hydrology.
Prior to joining Zayed University, she had varieties of industry experiences in Engineering hydrology and population research in China, and three-year leadership training experiences in Singapore. Regarding her international research and teaching in management, she has worked in universities of China, UAE, Ireland, Hong Kong, France, and Canada.
For publications, she has published over twenty papers in Chinese peer-reviewed journals and near 20 in international peer-reviewed journals, including, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Intercultural Relations, Journal of General Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and others. She received her best paper nominee at the Academy of Management Meeting, August 4-8 in Atlanta, Georgia, 2017.
