Bio

Ian Michael holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. His thesis investigated the area of Electronic/Internet Marketing and the title is "Consumer Behavior in a Computer Mediated Environment Implications for Marketers".

Dr. Ian also has an MBA degree from Australia, which includes a research component titled "The Economic Impact of Overseas Students on Tourism in Victoria, Australia".

Dr. Ian has around sixteen years of industrial experience in India and Australia in senior positions in sectors such as Travel & Tourism Banking & Finance, Hospitality, Advertising & Marketing, Pharmaceutical, and Transportation & Logistics.

Dr. Ian is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, and is a Certified Practicing Marketer. He has number of refereed articles published in various leading journals and authored two chapters in on Internet and Portal Marketing. He has presented at leading conferences around the world in Marketing and Tourism.
