Bio

Christina Nizamidou is an Assistant Professor of Management and has been employed at the College of Business at Zayed University, Dubai campus since December 2020. Working experience in the private sector in administrative and consulting positions. Christina is an active member of the Academy of Management. She studied Business Administration (BSc, 2006) at the University of Macedonia (Greece) and Management Information Systems (MSc, 2009) at the University of Macedonia (Greece).  She also holds a Ph.D. (2019) in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia (Greece). Title of her Dissertation: “Crisis Management: The Strategic Role of HR Department in dealing with crisis”.

Prior to her employment at Zayed University, she was employed as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Business and Public Administration, University of Cyprus, (Cyprus), as well as she worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Business Administration, University of Macedonia (Greece). Her papers have been published in international journals and edited volumes, such as the TQM Journal, EuroMed Journal of Business and Palgrave Macmillan.
