Bio
Dr. Younes Hamdouch is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at ZU, College of Business, Dubai campus. He has a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Montreal, Canada (2002). Prior to the ZU appointment, he has worked as an academic at the United Arab Emirates University and as a researcher at the University of Florida.
Dr. Hamdouch has taught courses in a wide range of areas including logistics and supply chain management, service operations management, and total quality management. He has published articles in leading academic journals in transportation and operations research such as Transportation Research and Transportation Science. Dr. Hamdouch was awarded two main research grants from the UAE National Research Foundation (AED 1,500,000) for projects on multi-modal transportation systems.
