Fathima Saleem is an Assistant Professor of Marketing. On completing her PhD, Fathima received the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award from the University of Ramon Lllull in Spain. She has received research grants to fund her work on internal branding and social media engagement. Prior to moving to the U.A.E., Fathima was a faculty at Ryerson University and Sheridan College in Canada. Aside from academia, Fathima has worked in the field of brand consulting and digital media analytics in Canada. She has published in journals such as Internet Research, Journal of Product & Brand Management, and Marketing Intelligence and Planning. In addition to her research and teaching, Fathima has also taken part in building online social supports for promoting the health of Syrian refugee women in Ontario.
