Bio

Taiba Hussain is an Assistant Professor at Zayed University’s College of Business. She holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario (B.M.S.) in Canada, Abu Dhabi University (MBA) in the UAE, and King’s College London (PhD) in the UK. Taiba’s research appears in leading journals in the field including International Business Review. Her work has also been presented at a variety of conferences such as the International Conference on Organization and Management (ICOM) (2016) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and the International Conference on Economics, Society and Management (ICESM) (2017) in Toronto, Canada, where she won best presentation award in management and innovation track.

Her research is focused broadly on individual innovative behavior, employee turnover and employee burnout. She is also involved in student research and has won with her students multiple research awards including the first place in the HRM category at the 4th UAE Undergraduate Student Research Competition (2016), the second place in the HRM at the 5th UAE Undergraduate Student Research Competition (2017), and the second place in the HRM at the 6th

UAE Undergraduate Student Research Competition (2018) in addition to winning at the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) research competition (2018).
