Bio

Nora joined the College as an instructor of accounting.  She is completing her doctoral studies at the University of Texas-El Paso, where she also received her Bachelors and Masters in accounting. Prior to entering her doctoral program she spent many years in the banking industry, as well as being Deputy Director of Homeward Bound for five years.  She has taught principles of accounting and managerial accounting at college and university levels while working on her PhD.  Her work has been presented at the American Accounting Association’s annual meetings and her current research focuses on such issues as accounting fraud, culture, and the role of professional skepticism.
