Bio
Dr. Alexandra A. Henderson is an Assistant Professor of Management at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi. She holds degrees from Dartmouth College (BA), Lund University (MSc), and Bowling Green State University (MA/PhD). Dr. Henderson’s work appears in leading journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Learning and Education, and Stress and Health. Her work has also been presented at a variety of conferences, including Academy of Management (AOM), Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and Work, Stress, and Health (WSH). Her research is focused on occupational health and diversity/inclusion. She has experience in applied human resources management (HRM) consulting, including job analysis, leadership development, and psychological skills training. She currently serves on Zayed University’s Student Affairs Committee.
