Bio

Abdelrahman Baqrain is the Assistant Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research in the College of Business at Zayed University.  He received his PhD in 2014 and a Master of Organizational Psychology in 2003 from Curtin University in Australia. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Career Guidance and Employment Services from Canterbury Christ Church University College, United Kingdom, United Kingdom. He also holds B.A from United Arab Emirates University.

Dr. Abdelrahman has 17 years’ experience in different business fields including senior administrative positions in higher education management, national manpower development, career guidance and training and development.

His research interests include national cultural influences on managerial leadership competencies, corporate culture and organizational performance, gender roles and identity and organizational effectiveness. He has presented research papers at various national and international conferences including the British Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business, The European Conference on Management Leadership and Governance, International Social Science and Humanities Conference, and the IAEVG International Conference.
