Bio

Dr. Magdy M. Ibrahim is an accomplished architect, educator, and researcher with over three decades of diverse experience in architectural design, engineering, and hospitality projects. He currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises.
A graduate of Ain Shams University, Dr. Ibrahim's architectural foundation was profoundly shaped by his time at the renowned institution, where he also earned a Master of Engineering in Architecture. His master's thesis explored the intricate relationship between new and historic buildings within the same built environment, reflecting his commitment to contextual design.
In 2005, Dr. Ibrahim completed his Ph.D. at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, with a dissertation and subsequent research focusing on the transformative potential of Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a new paradigm for computer-aided design (CAD) in architecture and education. His rich professional and academic career underscores a deep commitment to bridging the gap between traditional architectural principles and modern technological advancements
