B) Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design
In Graphic Design, students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in design and practice while developing a variety of skills in print and media design. Through their course work, students explore typography, packaging design, and web design. They also learn about project briefs, research, and client interaction, and how to pitch, develop, and finally implement design proposals. Through community engagement and team-directed and client-based projects, students are encouraged to understand the social and cultural dimension of any project in order to become innovative leaders in design.
C) Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Interior Design
In Interior Design, students acquire the appropriate technical skills and conceptual knowledge to design functional, safe, and aesthetically appealing interior architectural spaces for their clients. Students work on small residential to large commercial projects and learn about soft and hard decorative finishes, illumination, and the interplay between social and natural environments. Through research, problem solving, and applied practice, students understand the complexities of the built environment while developing creative solutions.
D) Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Visual Art
In Visual Art, we believe that professional creative expression requires both technical and intellectual skills that are acquired through intensive studio work, research, professional exposure, and gallery practice. Students thus acquire a variety of visual art skills, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture, while also developing their critical awareness of artistic issues, past, present, and future, within the region and internationally.
E) Bachelor of Sciences (B.S) in Multimedia Design (joint with the College of Communication and Media Sciences and the College of Technological Innovation):

OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT
The College has a long established record of encouraging our students to engage in multiple external communities, both professional and civic. Our graphic design students have worked with Tasmena—a community-based organization that uses design methodology to research and address social issues. Thanks to foundation support, our students have been able to do short travel-study trips with our faculty to other countries, most recently the UK, Japan and Italy. Our students have been very successful in receiving top honors in national competitions such as this year’s inaugural recipient of the Christo and Jean Claude Award, the ADMAF Creativity Award, Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award and the Lasvit Mubadala Tennis Trophy Award.
RESEARCH AND CREATIVITY
The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises considers all of its coursework as creative exploration/research. Each project is about a process of discovery where students are taught how to go beyond their preconceived ideas. The ability to suspend closure and to arrive at multiple possibilities is what the creative process is all about. We want our students to experience the act of doing creative research where they create work at the end of the process that they couldn’t have imagined or visualized at the beginning – that’s what art and design learning and discovery is all about.
