Zayed University proudly congratulates Ms. Mariam Al Hashmi on winning the Gold Medal in Graphic Design Technology at the WorldSkills GCC Doha 2025 competition, held in Qatar from 26–30 October.

Mariam also earned the GCC Champion Award for Best Competitor, the highest recognition presented to only one participant across all skills and GCC countries a remarkable achievement reflecting her talent, dedication, and hard work.

This accomplishment highlights Zayed University’s commitment to supporting creative excellence and innovation among its students. The university extends its appreciation to ACTVET | EmiratesSkills, and Mr. Steven Harris, Chief Expert of Graphic Design Technology Skill, for their continued guidance and collaboration.

Mariam will next represent the UAE at WorldSkills Asia 2025 in Taipei later this month.
