Martin Nixon is an Assistant Professor of Art History at the College of Art and Creative Enterprises, Zayed University, United Arab Emirates, where he teaches an introductory course in art history and courses on art and architecture in the SWANA region. His research interests include cultural interactions in art history, architectural ornament, and southern Italian art and architecture.
