29 Nov 2018The College of Arts and Creative Enterprises held its “Undergraduate Student Research Symposium 2018” in Dubai, Zayed University Conference Center, Multipurpose Hall 2, 2nd Floor, from the 27th-29th of November 2018.
We had invited more than 50 students and faculty from Germany and Oman to join our Interior Design students in a discussion and workshop about the outcomes of the “Solar Decathlon Middle East”.
The symposium addressed the theme within the following areas of focus: Sustainability, Building Performance, Quality Assessment.
Through presentations and moderated discussions, 10 interdisciplinary teams questioned what “Sustainable Architecture” means in the context of the Solar Decathlon Middle East.
They addressed how universities developed solutions for sustainable innovative houses, that were built on the SDME site.
