Mobile Learning Research Fund

At Home, At School, At Play
The Mobile Learning Research Fund is intended to promote research into the impact that mobile enhanced learning may have on learning outcomes.
The Mobile Learning Research Fund (MLRF) offers grants to full-time faculty and teaching staff to investigate the impact of mobile learning and mobile enhanced pedagogies on student learning. The grants are designed to fund one year projects to a maximum of AED 20,000 per project.

- Student-centered use of mobile technology and learning
- Formal and informal learning using mobile technology
- Ubiquitous learning opportunities
- Using mobile technology to enhance group collaborative projects
- Just in time learning with mobile technology

- Using Mobile Technology as a data-gathering tool
- Story-telling using smartphones
- Cultural identity, smartphones, and learning
- Pedagogical strategies for mobile enhanced teaching and learning
