Zayed University will host the first annual Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference. The Conference will be held on Tuesday 21 April 2015.

This year's theme, "Student Academic Success," focuses on best practices in teaching,  advising, collaboration and student learning. All presentations will be aimed at demonstrating a practice that facilitates learning and cultivates an environment of student success. 

According to Pascarella & Terenzini regarding student success, “the greatest impact appears to stem from students’ total level of campus engagement, particularly when academic, interpersonal, and extracurricular involvements are mutually reinforcing (2005, p. 647)”. It is from this perspective that the conference topics were developed in collaboration with the Director of the Office for Student Success, Dr. Roslyn Trezevant Haley, the conference Co-Chair.
