As part of the iPad Mobile Learning Initiative, for spring 2013 we have launched a pilot program within each of the colleges in order to build college-based expertise and support faculty early adopters. Because iPad integration is quickly moving towards the colleges it was essential that we build some collegiate readiness.

Project Outcomes

Participants will...

  1. be able to explain the pedagogical possibilities of the iPad for one of the courses or subjects they teach.
  2. have developed specific plans for at least two comprehensive activities/strategies for incorporating the device in their course(s).
  3. share their findings with their colleagues within the College and beyond.
  4. be able to provide suggestions to the college for further implementation.
