Overview
The CEI is proud to launch a new professional development initiative. The Blended and Online Teaching Innovation Program (BOTIP) offers flexible and accredited development specific to blended and online education. BOTIP is future-focused, to build knowledge and skills to design and develop blended and online courses from beginning to end. This means you'll learn to purposefully and intentionally design blended and online courses from the outset (i.e. not the emergency remote blended or online courses). There's two BOTIP pathways in which you'll learn more about intentional and purposeful design, development and facilitation of blended and online courses. The first pathway includes developing your understanding and use of a high-quality rubric and standards by Quality Matters to support your design and review of blended and online courses. The other pathway involves joining ZU Applied Workshops that engages in you in applying the Quality Matters rubric and standards with your knowledge, skills, experience and expertise.
The CEI looks forward to welcoming you into the courses and workshops. Please see the current schedule for all programming.
If you are interested in finding out how you'll engage with courses and workshops, how it will support your learning and development, and some of the commitments and rewards, please take a read of the BOTIP General Handbook linked on this page. You can also view the QM, ZUAW and Certificates pages.
