What are the working hours of Zayed University and when is the weekend?
Zayed University working hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a one hour lunch break. The weekend is on Friday and Saturday.

Do I need to pass certain assessment tests to qualify for a job at Zayed University?
It depends on the position you are applying for. Generally, some assessment tests are conducted for administrative positions to assess the following skills: English, Microsoft Word and Excel, and tying speed.

Absolutely. Employment opportunities are available for both National males and females.
Do I need to register on your employment site to view vacancies?
You do not have to register to view the available vacancies.
To view current vacancies, visit our Web site at www.zu.ac.ae, click on “Careers” and "Employment Opportunities" to conduct a job search on our recruitment site. You can click on "Advanced Search" button to view current vacancies using a variety of search criteria values.
How do I apply for a vacancy?
- Visit the Zayed University Web site at www.zu.ac.ae
- Click on “Careers” and then “Employment Opportunities” to view and apply for vacancies.
- Search for vacancies using "Simple" or "Advanced Search" button.
- Click on the vacancy of interest to view the job responsibilities and requirements.
- Click on “Apply Now" icon to apply for a vacancy.
- Fill in all the details in the application form, especially the questions identified with an asterisk (*) to create your profile/account. You will need to attach your CV in order to create your account at the site.
- Upon completion, the system will auto-acknowledge by confirming your registration.
- Your user name and password will be required when you wish to edit your application or apply for another vacancy.
Can I apply to more than one vacancy? Or do I have to fill out a fresh application for every position?
Yes, you can apply for multiple vacancies. All you need to do is create your profile/account on the recruitment site once and then apply for suitable vacancies. At any time, only one account will be maintained for you in our employment database.
Can I update my online application?
Yes, you can update your application at any time. You will need to log-in to the recruitment site and go to "My Account" tab to update your online application.
Do I have to answer all the questions on the online application form at one time?
Not necessarily. Once you have registered on our recruitment site, you should complete the required questions to complete the online application. Later, you can log-in to our recruitment site again and complete the remaining feilds.
Please note that you can not apply for a vacancy until you have completed the required feilds on the application form and attached your CV.
Do I have to answer all the online application questions?
It is important to have a completed application form. However, to provide more flexibility to candidates we have marked some questions in the application form with an asterisk (*), which are mandatory fields. Your application can not be submitted if the mandatory fields are blank.
Is my application information kept confidential?
Yes. All applications are kept strictly confidential.
Do I have to attach a Resume/CV?
A Resume/CV is the most important part of your application form. Please note that your application form cannot be submitted without your CV.
