Zayed University will welcome a total of 2098 students during its Orientation Week, beginning Tuesday on Abu Dhabi campus and Wednesday on Dubai campus.

Out of the 2098 prospective students, Zayed University is welcoming around 61 international students, who will share their experiences and backgrounds, and learn more about the UAE and Zayed University’s culture.

Orientation, which is a requirement for new students, exposes students to the university’s departments, faculty and staff, campus services and resources, rules and policies and provides them with the useful academic information they need for their transition to Zayed University’s new and exciting academic and cultural setting.

Student advising, registration, presentations, and campus tours are just a few of the activities planned for Orientation Week on both campuses, as well as offering workshops for international students, along with sessions designed to help national students network well and meet their peers.

Fall semester classes will begin on Sunday August 21.

870 female students and 448 male students will be joining their counterparts in Abu Dhabi (3397 female students and 389 male students), and 719 female students will be joining their counterparts in Dubai (2539 female students and 119 male students).

Zayed University’s Office of Graduate Studies has also admitted around 80 new students for the Fall semester 2016. New students will engage in postgraduate studies in International Business, Communications with specialization in Strategic Public Relations, Communications with specialization in Tourism and Cultural Communication, Health Care Administration, and Judicial Studies, which will be offered for the first time in Arabic as an open cohort this year.
