Zayed University to Host the 3rd Middle East Film Festival in April

The Zayed University Middle East Film Festival (ZUMEFF) has become annual Zayed University tradition, following the initiative taken by two College of Communication and Media Sciences students for their 2010 capstone graduation project.

The 2012 ZUMEFF will be held in Zayed University Convention Center Abu Dhabi from April 23 to 25. The ZUMEEF 2012 Student Committee has approached schools and universities across the UAE to ensure a diverse and large student participation. The festival consisted of a contest that was open to all the GCC and the MENA students interested in earning a spot in the ZUMEEF screening schedule. Five winning categories will be announced: Best of the best, Best News, Best Narrative, Best Animation, and Best Documentary.

Celebrities from the GCC and beyond will be attending the festival in support of the Zayed University Communication and Media Sciences students’ initiative.
