Zayed University students visit South Africa on a study mission

A group of Zayed University students visited South Africa on a study mission where they had the chance to familiarize with  management strategies of Top companies and also visit historical, cultural and media attractions and universities. The mission program ,which was a first for Zayed University male students, lasted for a week, and entailed a vast range of enriching field activities and hands-on experience.

Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University said: “ This mission fulfills two main objectives. The first is to expose Zayed University students majoring in International Studies to the pracical applications of their academic program from one end, and  to enhance their cultural awareness from the other end.”
 
He added that the students’ visits to large organizations and digging in the details of their operational systems and procedures is a vital part of the mandatory internship they are accountable for at Zayed University.
 
Zayed University is strongly committed to student exchange programs that develop students’ communication and people skills and widen their personal and professional horizons. This commitment is grealy supported by the University’s President , His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, as it develops UAE Nationals’ sense of belonging and gives them the opportunity to represent their country and share their knowledge and ideas in regional and international events around the world.
