ZU  helped me to build the confidence to follow my passion and dream.

I meet my best friends in ZU and great teachers who became my role model and supported me though my journey in ZU.

I graduated from Auckland University with a Masters in Education in 2009.  In 2011 I got a scholarship from the Emirates Foundation to continue my PhD in Museum Studies School at University of Leicester.  I completed my  PhD in May 2015 and now I am holding a position as a Head of Museological and Visitor Research at Sharjah Museums Department.

I have several publications and I did a lot of talks related to history of museums and Museums visitors in UAE. I would thank Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak for giving the opportunity to pursue my dream to study and become the first Emirati to hold a doctorate in museum studies from one of the best universities in that field.
