The Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi invites you to register for the 10th round of the 'HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Higher Education Grant for Zayed University Graduates in Abu Dhabi and Dubai', administered by Emirates Foundation.
The grant aims at supporting UAE national graduates from Zayed University by providing them with scholarships to continue their Master’s or PhD studies at leading universities in the UAE and abroad
Student Eligibility:
- Zayed University graduate, working in Abu Dhabi & hold family book from Abu Dhabi or hold family book from other Emirates. Not working and hold Abu Dhabi family book
- New enrollments or started studying for at least one semster
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- IELTS of 6.0 / TOEFL 550 (80) unless different score required by university
- Statement of purpose demonstrating commitment to pursue career in chosen field
- For male applicants, you must have a national service card or an official document that shows your national service status.
- The applicant must have an academic admission within the list of universities recommended by the Department of Education and Knowledge. The admission must specify the type of the learning system, major, university education and studying period.
- The study must be in full or part-time at the educational institute in the country of study and must fulfill the Ministry of Education's (MOE) requirements. A statement of educational program approval must be provided from MOE as well.
Priority Fields of Study - not limited to:
- Education & Socail Studies
- Tourism
- Healthcare and Public Administration
- Museum & Curatorial Studies
Science Majors including:
- Environment & Engineering
- Nuclear Engineering & Management
*Business Studies & Project Management Majors are not supported by the grant

Application Process:
Applicants may apply online only. Applicants should ensure that all requested information is provided and all documents requested are uploaded at the time of application.
These documents will include:
• A certified copy of the applicant's degree certificate(s) along with an official transcript
• Evidence of English language proficiency, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL
• A photocopy of the applicant's passport & Emirates ID
• A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• A Statement of Purpose
• Reference Letter
• Letter of acceptance
