Welcome to the Academic Excellence Hub at CIS, a one-stop shop for CIS students to get support in essay assignment preparation, general English, math and coding.
You can book one-to-one and small group appointments with teaching assistants and faculty tutors in CIS’s general education and major classes. Our sessions are held at the Innovation Centre and online.
Service Description
Math: Develop math and critical thinking skills and gain support for your math and stat-related questions through tailored workshops.
Coding: Develop essential skills and gain support in your coding-related assignments, questions, projects, and other issues.
Essay Assignments: Beginning-to-end assignment guidance including: understanding the instruction guide, following the rubric, incorporating LOs, logic, empirical thinking, and creativity, incorporating high quality sources, and professional quality writing. We offer comprehensive subject coverage.
English: Get support on further developing your communications skills in English (academic reading, writing, presentations and general usage) and advancing your critical thinking skills for academic work.
Arabic: Get support on furthering your communication skills in Arabic (writing, presentations and general usage) for academic work.
