1. What is the Alumni Association Board (AAB)?

The Alumni Association Board (AAB) is an elected group of outstanding ZU Alumni dedicated to supporting and engaging with ZU’s Alumni Community.

The board provides networking opportunities, career support, and resources for both personal and professional growth.

AAB represent the voice of ZU’s Alumni Community

2. How can I get involved with the Alumni Board?

Once a student graduates, all ZU Alumni unconditionally become members of the alumni association, which is represented by the board.

All ZU Alumni are welcome to attend events, join alumni groups, participate in the upcoming ZU Alumni Mentorship Program (ZUAM), or volunteer for various initiatives.

3. What are the benefits of being an alumni member?

As a ZU alumni member, you can enjoy exclusive benefits, such as:

• Life-time access to both campuses

• Life-time access to the Library and Common Resources

• Life-time access to the gym facilities on both campuses

• Fazaa Discount Card through the Alumni ID Card

• Discounts at selected Alumni owned businesses

4. How do I update my contact information?

You can update your contact details by logging into the Careers Portal and making the necessary changes.

5. How can I find out about upcoming alumni events?

Keep your personal email address up to date on the Careers Portal (add link) and follow the Alumni Team on social media for the latest updates.

6. Can I organize an alumni event?

Yes, we encourage alumni to organize events or contribute to existing ones.

7. How do I nominate someone for an Alumni recognition?

To nominate someone for recognition, please email the Alumni Team at alumni@zu.ac.ae. Ensure that you provide all necessary details, contact details and supporting documents (if possible).

8. How can I nominate someone for the Alumni Board?

You can nominate yourself or a trusted alumni by submitting the Nomination Form hyperlink. Nominations are reviewed every two years , with elections following the nomination period.

Currently the elections deadline is (date to be determined)

9. When are board elections held?

Board elections are conducted every two years.
