SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Course
EXAM REGISTRATION PROCESS
The SHRM examination is scheduled twice annually in May and December. The examination is optional to participants, however the exam must be taken independently. There are two examination bodies you need to register with to schedule your exam.
1. Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI)
(Determine the body of knowledge for HR practitioners in the USA)
2. Thomson Prometric
(Testing agency for many certification programs including HR)

1. Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI)
To qualify for the GPHR exam, you must demonstrate work experience in an ‘exempt’ HR position. For details on whether you are eligible to sit for the GPHR exam, please visit the following website: http://www.hrci.org/HRCertification/

Please be mindful that HRCI do undertake reviews on the information which is provided to ensure you are eligible. Your application will be considered null and void and all fees forfeited if mis-information is given.

2. Thomson Prometric
You will also need to schedule your GPHR exam with the Thomson Prometric test centre. There is a test centre located in Dubai. To schedule your examination and for other test centre locations visit the following web site: http://www.prometric.com.
Important Note: You will not be able to schedule your exam with Thomson Prometric until you have been registered with HRCI.
Since registration fees would have already been paid to HRCI, there are no additional fees that need to be made to Thomson Prometric.
