Introduction

After graduating from the University of Cairo with a degree in Law, I joined Egyptian force Army for 3 years, then worked 6 years as  a legal researcher in people’s Assembly  in Egypt until 1998 , I joined National Center for Social & criminological Research ( NCSCR) as a Researcher, which specialized in Empirical Studies, so I involved in many of it in many aspects (Social, political, Economic,etc) from Law point of view.  and I studied for a PhD in criminal Law at the University of Cairo, awarded in 2000. I worked as an Expert in NCSCR and promoted to professor Rank in 2011 (10 Months after joining ZU) .

Qualifications

  • PhD in Criminal Law, ( Legal structure of Terrorism – comparative Study) , Cairo university, Egypt, 2000 
  • BA In Law, Cairo university, 1990.

Previous Positions

1990-1993: Officer in Egyptian force Army
1993-1998: Legal Researcher in People’s Assembly in Egypt. 
1998-2011: Expert and Professor in NCSCR.

Memberships

I am a Member in many committees at ZU & CHSS levels (Irregularities Committee, Student conduct Committee, and Research Committee.)

I participate in developing PHD in Law program at ZU, in addition to my teaching in Master of Judicial Studies (MAJS).
