The Students who are interested in joining the Student Council have the opportunity to apply for being a member, officer or delegate in the council. In the Spring Term each year, the university Student Affairs send emails to all students inviting those interested to collect an application form. Students who are interested can fill the application forms with information and then return it to the Student Affairs or the Activities Coordinator. After that, the Student Council Advisors approve the forms, and then ask the eligible students to do an interview with them. During the interview, questions are asked based on the information provided in your application form. After the interview the advisors meet together and they decide the members of the Student Council.
By the end of the Spring Semester, the advisors of the Student Council and the Activities Coordinator meet together with the new Student Council members. In this meeting, they announce the student names and positions for the next semester.
If you would like to apply for a position within the Student Council you have to get the forms from the Student Services and complete it, along with two references from your faculty or a member of staff. Successful candidates are then asked to attend an interview. Always be on time for your interviews and try to do your best in answering the questions.
