Senior specialist with the General Secretariat of the Executive Council’s Office of Corporate and Strategic Affairs

Mariam Mohamad Omar is a senior specialist with the General Secretariat of the Executive Council’s Office of Corporate and Strategic Affairs. Her role involves working on public policies and strategies that relate to the Government of Abu Dhabi.

Prior to that, Mariam worked for four years with Mubadala’s Structured and Capital Markets Unit where she was responsible for international fund raising for Mubadala’s key social and infrastructure projects.

Mariam is the President of Career and Professional Development Committee of Zayed University Alumni Association and a member of the establishing committee of the International Professional Women Association. She has participated as a speaker in several panels on topics related to alumni entrepreneurship and leadership.

Mariam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Sciences with a concentration in finance from Zayed University.
