Tuition Waivers for International Students

Zayed University, through the Office of Enrollment Management, offers a limited number of tuition waivers to international students.  Tuition Waivers are for 50% and 100% of the tuition fees (but do not cover the cost of a ZU laptop, food or transport).

In return for a tuition waiver students are expected to provide 4-6 hours of on campus student support.

Tuition waivers are awarded for the full four years of study providing students

•  Maintain the required GPA

• Fill in the Tuition Waiver application.

•  Successfully complete their on-campus student support obligations.

Tuition waiver applications can be made at the time of application to Zayed University. Tuition waiver selection will be announced no later than a week before the official start of the semester.

Tuition Waiver Selection Criteria

Tuition Waiver for 50% of fees

• High school GPA (or University GPA if transferring from another University/College) equivalent to 2.5 (Approximately 78%).

• Positive letter of reference from most recent school;

• IELTS of 5.5 average or TOEFL iBT of 71 score

Conditions for maintaining TW

• Maintain A GPA of 2.5

• Successful completion of on-campus student support obligations. 2-4 hrs /per week

• No disciplinary issues

Tuition Waiver for 100% of fees 

• High school GPA (or University GPA if transferring from another University/College) equivalent to 3.0 (Approximately 85%)

  Positive letter of reference from most recent school

• IELTS of 6.0 average or IBT of  80 score

• Outstanding personal qualities and show leadership abilities in school & community

Conditions for maintaining Tuition Waiver

• Maintain A GPA of 3.0.

• Successful completion of  on-campus student support obligations 4-6 hrs/per week

• No disciplinary issues.
