Shokoofeh FazelAssociate Professor BioDr. Shokoofeh Fazel received her Ph.D. in economics from Claremont Graduate University. She also holds two masters degrees in business management and economics. Dr. Fazel started her teaching career at California State University, Fullerton in 1984. She has also taught at California State University, Los Angeles, and Chapman University. Dr. Fazel was promoted to the rank of associate professor in 2007 at Montana State University where she taught since 1997. Dr. Fazel has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, finance, and quantitative methods. Dr. Fazel has authored and published numerous articles in refereed academic journals. She has been the reviewer and editor for refereed academic journals and textbooks. She has also been the recipient of and nominee for numerous “Excellence in teaching” and “Scholarship” awards. Dr. Fazel has also been involved in many consulting activities in her area of expertise.
