Bio

Douglass Cagwin is Professor of Accounting at Zayed University in Dubai. He has previous teaching experience at Lander University, Greenwood, South Carolina and at the University of Texas at Brownville.

Dr. Cagwin received Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Accounting from the University of Arkansas, and his undergraduate accounting degree from Iowa State University. He has over twenty years of controllership experience in manufacturing and distribution and three years experience in public accounting. Dr. Cagwin primarily teaches managerial accounting, auditing and accounting information systems. His research focuses on determining the net value obtained from implementation of sophisticated cost accounting systems.
