Bio

Professor Graham has been a small-company financial controller, local government accounting manager, university business manager and taught at the University of Rhode Island for 12 years before joining Zayed University. While at Rhode Island, he held the Richard Vangermeersch Professorship in Accounting and served as the Accounting and Information Systems Area Coordinator. He has his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of North Carolina and his PhD from Virginia Tech. He has also taught at the Virginia Tech for three years, RMIT in Melbourne Australia and the Braunschweig University of Technology in Germany.  His research interests are in environmental accounting and decision making. He has published articles in many of the academic accounting and business journals. He has served as a reviewer for several journals and was recently on the editorial review board for Issues in Accounting Education. He is currently developing cases in environmental accounting and doing research on environmental disclosures and bond pricing as well as other projects in environmental accounting and financial decision making.
