The Art and Design Department of the College of Arts and Sciences welcomed the artist Jon Barlow Hudson on March 30, 2010. He came from the USA especially for a major cultural event, the Abu Dhabi International Sculpture Symposium (ADISS). The visitor presented to Art and Design faculty and students his experience of exhibiting his work internationally. He reviewed  the wide variety of materials he uses for creating artwork including marble, stainless steel, wood, colored water, light, fiber optics, various types of glass and natural elements. He shared many ideas with Art and Design faculty and students who learned much from his experience.
