Zayed University launched the Executive Masters in Public Administration (EMPA) program in 2007 and since then, two cohorts of students have successfully graduated. The EMPA program, that is approved by the U.A.E. Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is designed for executives who wish to develop their senior leadership skills and further their careers and personal development. The curriculum seeks to enhance students’ knowledge and capabilities to drive improved public sector performance at both local and international levels. A further unique feature of the EMPA program is that it offers an option in Police Studies for students wishing to specialize in the area of police administration.

Classes are taught exclusively in English by selected faculty members from Zayed University and the two partner universities. Outstanding faculty and a strong focus on team leadership provide a unique and challenging academic experience for students. Faculty utilize an innovative mix of on-site and off-site delivery systems to best fit the professional and personal schedules of each participant.
