Mission

Health and well being is a central aim for most societies, along with the desire to sustain living and working environments that are safe and healthy. The mission of the Health Sciences program is to provide a high quality learning experience to nurture effective health professionals, and to create opportunities for research and development that support national goals in health.

Academic Program

The Health Sciences Program prepares graduates fo r careers in the rapidly developing U.A.E. health sector. Graduates from the program will have a strong scientific background combined with an excellent understanding of social and cultural factors impacting on health. They will be able to assume managerial and leadership roles in improving the health of U.A.E. citizens. In addition, they will have a good understanding of important global health issues.
